Our focus is to create an environment where quality of life for individuals living with autism or intellectual disabilities is paramount. Our philosophy includes:

Creating a community that welcomes people with disabilities and supports all differences and encouraging our residents’ ability to govern their own lives independently with dignity and respect.

Providing a safe and supportive environment enabling individuals to pursue their goals and celebrating successes which are necessary for self-fulfillment.

Validating individual interests in a goal-directed manner and encouraging individuals to achieve their optimum potential and state of health and well-being.

OUR SERVICES

Coastal Community Care offers a residential 24/7 staffed model of support providing professional, trained staff and individualized supports within community-based homes. These two-person homes can be designed to meet a wide range of person centered needs from teaching independent living skills to providing behaviorally intensive levels of care and support.

Through person-centered plans, individuals are encouraged to express and exert the fullest range of choice possible in their daily lives, and in doing so, are able to develop a genuine sense of self-determination. This autonomy is not to be confused with isolation. To promote an expanding circle of natural supports, Coastal Community Care staff work diligently to ensure that every resident experiences a sense of belonging and community inclusion.
